COURSE TITLE: MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

1-RECOMMENDED FOR: NEUROLOGY RESIDENTS AND SPECIALISTS, ACADEMICS

2-OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:
Immunopathogenesis of MS and current developments in its immunopathogenesis will be highlighted, differential diagnosis of MS will be discussed with cases and their use in daily clinical routine will be underlined. Progression from radiologically isolated syndrome to progressive form will be addressed. New developments about the effects of environmental factors and Vitamin D, which is a hot topic, on the natural course of MS will be highlighted.

3-WHAT WILL BE THE LEARNING OUTCOMES THAT THE PARTICIPANTS WILL ACQUIRE AT THE END OF THE COURSE?
They will learn important points of magnetic resonance imaging (MSI) for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. They will acquire the knowledge and skills as regards diagnosis and differential diagnosis in the light of the cases presented.
