COURSE TITLE: MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS I

1-RECOMMENDED FOR: NEUROLOGY RESIDENTS AND SPECIALISTS, ACADEMICS

2-OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:
The objective of this course is to discuss the scales used for the diagnosis and follow-up of MS and other demyelinating diseases and latest data about how they are evaluated, CSF and other biomarkers used for the diagnosis and follow-up of MS. Vasculitis in the differential diagnosis of MS will be addressed and what different MRI lesions mean will be interpreted based on cases. The clinical/radiological features of NMOSD and MOG-related demyelinating diseases will be presented and discussed in the light of the latest data.

3-WHAT WILL BE THE LEARNING OUTCOMES THAT THE PARTICIPANTS WILL ACQUIRE AT THE END OF THE COURSE?
The objective of this course is to discuss the latest data about the scales, tests and biomarkers used for MS and other demyelinatng diseases and improve the knowledge and skills of participants in this field. BThey will be informed about the meaning and interpretation of vasculitis for the differential diagnosis of MS and of different MRI lesions for radiological differential diagnosis.They will acquire knowledge and experience about clinical features/diagnosis and treatment approach of NMOSD and MOG-related diseases.
