1- ATTENDANCE TO THE BREAKFAST SEMINAR IS RECOMMENDED FOR: RESIDENTS, SPECIALIST NEUROLOGISTS
2- OBJECTIVE OF THE BREAKFAST SEMINAR:
The seminar is designed to answer the following questions: According to which criteria should we define epilepsy? In what circumstances should we plan antiepileptic drug treatment? Who can discontinue
antiepileptic medication? What are the important points in the treatment of status epilepticus, one of the most
important medical emergencies?
3- THE SUBJECTS THAT THE COURSE ATTENDEES WILL BE INFORMED AFTER THE BREAKFAST SEMINAR?
The attendees will understand the definition of epilepsy, which patients should start using antiepileptic drug and under which conditions, which antiepileptic drugs to choose with case examples. They will also learn which of the major problems would be appropriate for the termination of treatment. In addition, it will be possible to make treatment plans by going over important points about status epilepticus which is a very common condition.
